You have heard that old cleche' "It's whats on the inside that counts"! Let's talk about this and kick it around a little bit.It is very true. We need to be loving, kind, genuine, spiritual, honest, tolerant, considerate, patient, gentle, and meek etc. etc. I could go on and on about this. These are all great qualities that can make us a well-balanced wonderful person. I'm sure you have all heard of 'love at first sight'. So if that's the case, isn't it true that people look at our physical appearance first and kind of size us u? (Ha! Ha!) In my opinion after they size us up then they look on the inside to make sure we are nice person. What do you viewers think?
They did a study in New York City where they put a guy on the corner to sell things and get peoples attention. He was very handsome and good-looking. He was also a sharp dresser. Most people stopped and talked to him -they treated him well. Then they put an average looking ordinary guy on the same corner and most people went right by him and acted like he was invisible! So it is important to be clean, neat, and have a good appearance. By doing so we then come across as a confident person. Then that inner inside confidence and self esteem will shine through and attract people to us.
My old boss used to say confidence is sexy. I think she was totally right. So, the deal is, I say we work on both the inside and the outside. Our physical outside appearance is important because then people know that we like and care about ourselves. I have been fighting a major war on my weight! What a battle. I had a lot more dates when I was thinner. My thyroid went out which caused me to have very low metabolism. Therefore I gained a lot of weight. I joined a gym and work out all the time so I am looking and feeling better. I am trying and that's what counts! So I hope this week that whatever areas you guys need to work on, you will be highly motivated to do so. I wish you a lot of good luck with your endeavors! I know Mr. right will be more attracted to a real self confidant person and that is going to be my goal for this next week!!!!!
Till next time,
Bev
