Yay! I'm Back!

Hello everyone! Well its time to update this website with the latest and greatest that's be happening in my single world. I needed to take a break and boy it did a world of good for me! I have learned alot, thought alot, and did alot!  I would like to share my thoughts with you all again in hoping I can help others in my similar or same situation.
I used to think I could never be alone or I just had to have a companion no matter what. Over the last year I have thought and thought about this and have decided I have a pretty nice life and I am just going to serve the Lord and be my best self and see what happens.

It has been a fun journey. I have been a part of two different singles groups. The first one was helping out with a singles pot-luck group. I have met a lot of friends ( female and male) in this group and have had a lot of fun along the way. We put on wonderful pot lucks every 1st Sunday of the month. I have never missed being there one time. We have had  Mexican, Hawaiian, Irish and many other fun singles dinners and activities. I went with the attitude that  I was just going to go to serve  others and meet some new single friends. We have had three people get married from the group. One of the gals was 71 years old and in a wheel chair and she married a cute guy that just wanted to take care of her. My other cute girlfriend Beth met a guy in Virginia and married him! I was invited to their weddings and it has been both rewarding and great fun! I am also involved with the singles firesides in Draper. We invite the people from both groups to do things. We have had great well known speakers at these firesides.

I have had some fund dates along the way. I always go on the date with a great attitude and try to look and be my best. If it doesn't work out then I say well at least he can be a friend  or I can line him up with someone else. You see- always having the good attitude is what is most important. Also I have been making a few changes here and there with in myself so I can be what I want to attract. We even have an 85 year old in the group and he brings his pot luck dish every Fast Sunday like clock work!

Hey he is a nice guy and available!
So I have I have had to learn patience, never give up, and to be greatfull for the life I have! Please stay tuned......there is alot more I am going to share wtih you.....Beverly

"Ruff" and Tough Times

Well hello everyone . Boy it has been a rough and I mean rough couple of weeks.Sometimes when things are this tough on us we tend to feel we are being picked on don't we. Well I need to remember I am a tried and tested individual like we all are. Sometimes maybe a little more for me!!

It all started a couple of weeks ago when my boss pulled me aside and told me we were all losing our jobs on his team. I was just mortified! I have been working on this project for 2 1/2 years and absolutely love it in every way shape and form! The pay was excellent as well as the hours and everything else. I loved helping people get out of debt and build wealth! It was very rewarding. Needless to say everyone of us on the team felt so bad we all loved our jobs. Well the blessing in all this is they moved all of us to other jobs (projects) in the company which was nice. I guess you could say at least I have a job. Well I am now selling the Neat scanner and organizer. I am sure you have seen the Infomericals on T.V. It is kind of fun --I mean everyone I talk to--almost everyone wants one..It kind of sells itself. But my pay was cut in half and that is a real bummer!!!!!!!

All the best of the best sales people that came with me are now looking for other jobs. I guess they want more pay. Its funny how you can love what your are doing and love the people you work with and then all of  sudden -poof- its all gone. Life sometimes is so rough and tough I just can't believe it. But I do believe this is the way life works out sometimes! I am working real hard on the idea that I need to control my life more not let it control me!!! Or at least control what I can.

Also a few other things that happened to me this last past week to make life even better. My daughter (Cherise) got locked in our new shed that my handyman just built. I was in the kitchen and could hear her screaming and yelling! I just ignored her thinking she was just kidding after all I just saw her so how could anything have just happened? I could not tell where she was. Then the screaming got louder and louder so I ran outside to see what the heck just happened only to find her locked in our new shed. She said: " Mom let me out"! I told her: "You come on out of there now! She replied: " I can't mom the handle just spins around and must be broken!" Any way I looked around and found the key and let her out. She then asked me to go in the shed and see for myself that the door handle was not working. I said to her: "I can see that it does not work." She says go inside and see for your self and see if you can fix it...please!!! So she locks me inside, meanwhile I don't even realize that I have both keys to the shed in my hand! So I am now locked in the shed with the keys and it is close to 100 degrees outside and I am just frantic. So I am yelling at her at the top of my lungs telling her of all the stupid things and she is laughing her head off. I crouch down to try to hand her the keys through a tiny little hole and I drop them and they get stuck. Luckily my handy man (Stan) is there and he can hear all he commotion and comes running outside to help. Well I finally get the keys to go through the hole and they let me out after a near nervous breakdown. I let Cherise really have it..but she started laughing at me calling me a big scaredy cat and then we all just stood there laughing and what a big joke! But Stan is the man and went right to work fixing the door handle!

Then  last night I came home form work  after a hard day on the new job. I had just pulled in the driveway. I got out of the car when I decided to go to the mailbox and get the mail. I no sooner looked up and there was the neighbors raging pit bull charging at me and barking crazy out of her mind! I was scared to death. I  dropped all my mail on the ground and was so afraid!! I tried to remain calm and reason with the dog but she would not back off and she was showing her fangs like a savage beast. She kept on after me and backing me clear down to the neighbors house. A crazy man was walking by and I asked him for help but he was mentally handicapped and was trying to ward the dog off but he wasn't much help. This dog would not let me go up my driveway and go home!!!!So I ran to the neighbors and borrowed there phone and called 911. The neighbors (Matt and Michelle) came out and tried to help and offered the dog doggie treats and she still would not back off!!!! She wasn't buying any of it!! So of course all of  the sudden here comes the dogs owner driving up and gets out of the car and puts his dog away! He was not happy!!! So it was not fun.  A few minutes later animal control came out and gave the guy a sitation. They said this was not the first time this dog has gotten out and went a mad spree. The officer said he has chased this dog before. So he new at least we were telling the truth. I felt bad for the neighbor but we can't have a mad pit bull constantly out terrorizing everyone............... So just another day in the fun filled life of a single gal named Beverly.......
